Levin Kong is a licensed home inspector (CPBC #78939). A graduate of the Carson Dunlop home inspection training program at Douglas College, Levin is professionally trained and certified to inspect structure, electrical, heating/cooling, plumbing, interior/insulation/ventilation, exterior/roofing, and technical operations.
Levin and his brother were born in the Philippines. At the age of 11, his family moved to British Columbia and settled in New Westminster, BC. Levin spent his teenage and young adult years in the Fleetwood area of Surrey. In his early 20s Levin graduated from UBC with a Bachelor of Science. He then went on to start his career as an electrician and completed his electrical foundation level #1 at Sprott Shaw College. After trying his hand in electrical, Levin realized his passion for the inner workings of homes. He then decided to shift his focus to home inspections.
What sets Levin apart is his calm demeanor and patience to explain to buyers and clients the home inspection report. This comprehensive report not only includes deficiencies, but also useful tips, maintenance items, and must-knows of homeownership. Levin takes tremendous pride in his attention to detail; he finds the areas that most people overlook, and tests all equipment and systems so our buyers have no surprises. He’s not afraid to get dirty: going through attics and crawling through dirty crawl spaces to give you the information needed to make your purchase. Whether you are an agent or buyer, Levin will give you peace of mind in your homebuying process.
Levin is fluent in English and we are very proud to have a home inspector that also speaks Filipino (Tagalog and Bisaya). He recently purchased his first home with his wife, in beautiful Chilliwack. He is keen on renovating and working with his hands. A great partner in this home buying process, Levin is here for you!
